0112BKSLE-1 Ranger Pro Originalshape Black Linen Micarta HDL

For the 50th Anniversary Buck has re released the 112 Ranger as part of their Legacy Collection in a Vintage Tribute edition. Paying homage to the 1972 version, this version has the original 440C blade, square brass bolsters and black linen Micarta covers. Designed as a compact version of the iconic 110 folding hunter, the 112 Ranger is as practical and popular as it was in 1972 and makes a great addition to any collection.

Blade: The 3" hollow ground clip point is ideal for nearly any cutting chore from heavy slicing to fine detail work while meeting legal length requirements in many areas. The 440C stainless steel blade set the standard for edge retention with high corrosion resistance and is still a practical choice for balanced performance today. Pinch grip to open the clean, nick-free blade.

Handle: Familiar 112 construction consists of brass liners, pins, and squared bolsters paired with original black Micarta covers. Micarta is an industrial laminate used since the early 1900s that offers strength, insulation and, in the case of knife handles, traction when wet or dry. The Buck 112 offers a heft in the hand that is solid, reliable, and comfortable for use.

440C Stainless Steel: The basis for many modern steels, AISI 440C offers a good balance of corrosion resistance and edge retention with relative ease of sharpening.
